Koycegiz has now got a steak house, being a lover of steak, I thought it my duty to test it out.
I went with my parents and we were all pleasantly suprised. The restaurant is located on the lake side in the direction of the beach. It is lit up with many coloured lights, adding to the atmoshere. We sat on the terrace looking out, watching the sun set over the mountains. All though the outside seating area is small, and there was hardly any customers, the atmosphere was great, very relaxed.
We ordered mezes to start, Antep Ezme (chilli meze) & Haydari (Yogurt, Garlic & Mint). We had to wait a little while for these, as they make them fresh, you could certainly tell this, as they were by far the best mezes I've ever eaten.
To follow I ordered steak, whilst my parents sampled the adana kebabs. All were extremely tasty, and served with rice and salad, chips were ordered seperately.
We had a nice bottle of white wine, a beer and sprite and the bill came to only 58.00 ytl.
Over all I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Nice atmosphere, great selection of meals and at the right price.
