During the American Civil War (1861-1865), the death toll was well over 600,000, of which, about half of the dead went unidentified. Many of the 3 million going to battle were so afraid they would not be identified, they wrote their names on pieces of paper, handkerchiefs and even their own clothing. A neutron star of 20 kilometers (12.4 miles) diameter has about 1.4 times the mass of the sun. That means, a neutron star on earth would be so dense, one teasthingy would weigh a billion tons. Neutron stars can have magnetic fields a million times stronger than the strongest magnetic fields produced on Earth.
