Would anyone be interested in joining a gardening club for Koycegiz and surrounding area? Just a thought as we are coming over to live in January and would welcome any advice and opinions on plants suitable for the climate.

I am not green fingered by any stretch of the imagination, but every Plant,Tree, Bush or Fruit Tree I stick in the ground grows,as long as they are watered regularly. My neighbour gave me a 2ft. long stick cut off her Fig Tree 2 yrs. ago, no roots, and told me to just stick it in the ground, it's now 9ft. tall and bearing fruit.Weeds grow very well in my garden and some are quite pretty,but a spray with the Weedkiller soon gets rid of them. Plants etc. are very cheap to buy if you go to the right place in Koycegiz ( on the main Koy.- Ortaca road ), and if mine die, I go and buy another one.
