Tried to book a flight on- line for 3-4 days in England to attend a Funeral on 7th. Nov.
On-line 3rd. Nov.
Manchester- Dalaman 8th Nov. £38.99 ( Thomas Cook) ;D ;D
Dalaman - Manchester 4th Nov.... Wait for it!!!!!! 324 Euros, I am not joking. ( Thomas Cook )
Cheapest I could find, Dalaman to Manchester was £155.00 one way, ( Onur Air )
The Air Lines are trying their best to rip people off going to England from Turkey, and one day will realise that passengers will not pay their inflated Winter Prices.
I know of a family that booked a 2wk. holiday in Marmaris, £50.00 per person cheaper than Flight Only, and stayed in Koycegiz for their Holiday, its a thought for the future.!!!!!!!
Over the Winter season it's difficult to get a Flight out of Dalaman due to lack of Airlines ( only two I believe ), and one of those cancels flights at will.
I accept that they have to make a profit, and if the prices were reasonable, they would have more customers.
The last Onur Air flight, for 3wks, from Manchester carried 13 passengers, that say's it all.
