There is an unconfirmed report that as from January 2009, the 3 mth. Visa is being reduced to 1 mth.The reasoning being that it is a Tourist Visa, and Tourists only visit for short periods, ie. 1-4 wks.. It is also to stop the Visa Run to Greece every 90 days by foreigners who basically live in Turkey most of the time, and force them to obtain Residence Visas, at a cost of over £200.00 a year.
If the Visa Rules are changed,I don't suppose the cost will come down to £3.33 for 1 mth. This change could also be a "cash cow" in the making.
