Buses providing services between the park and Karşıyaka County are decorated with animal figures as part of the project. The Natural Life Park at Sasalı, one of the prestige investments of the İzmir Metropolitan Municipality, is ready on all counts and will open with a ceremony Sunday, Nov. 30, at 10:30 a.m. Aziz Kocaoğlu, the mayor of İzmir, said living in a clean, healthy and natural environment was a basic right for animals as much as humans. A model city "Following this motto, we are thriving to be one of the model cities of Turkey on preserving natural life and investing in the environment; creating forests in the city to form new attraction centers," said Kocaoğlu. While the people of İzmir wait for the opening, animals from Kültüpark Zoo and all over the world have moved to their new home, where they are adapting slowly. The park lies between Gediz River and Tuzla Street on 425,000 square meters of land. The Municipality decorated 10 of their buses with the slogan "Let’s meet at İzmir Natural Life Park" and figures of various animals. After the opening, these buses with the number 777 will take nature lovers from Karşıyaka Dock to the park
