Vehicle Tax will increase by 12% from 1st Jan. 2009
For the wealthy people in Koycegiz who drive around in vehicles with engine size 4 litres plus, the Tax will be 14,000.200 lira.

This is the website for checking how much Tax is due on your vehicle. It's in Turkish but very easily to follow, only 3 parts.
1) Type of vehicle (car, van etc)
2) age of vehicle
3) engine size
4) Click on Hespapla
5) Yillik Tutar is the amount you pay.
