We have just been informed by Digiturk that they will no longer accept Direct Debits paid on UK Credit Cards.
The only way to pay after today is:
1) Direct Debit through a Current Turkish Lira Account.
2) D....... D..... using a Turkish Credit Card.
3) Cash at a Bank every month.
They don't make life easier for ex-pats and it wouldn't be so bad if Digiturk was half decent, they have more repeats than a glass of Alka-Seltzer
If you have a Turkish Credit card you still have to go into the Bank every month to pay it off unless you have a Current Lira Account.
