Hello to everyone on the forum. We are Colin and Arlene and stumbled across the site whilst searching through the many real estate companies advertising properties in the area. Arlene has visited Turkey many times, whilst I'm still a novice, she even has a reasonable grasp of the language, compared to me that is.
We had holidays in Olu Deniz and Dalyan last year and that was me hooked as well. Ideally we are looking to buy a holiday home for now that we can then retire to in the next few years. We would welcome any hints, tips, pointers, advice, pitfalls to watch out for etc connected with house purchasing in Turkey. Best wishes to all in Koycegiz. Colin & Arlene

Welcome to the Forum , the best advice I can give you is to be very careful with who you deal with, only deal with official emlaks (estate agents). There is plenty of sound advice on this Forum if you browse through, and if any questions arise, ask on the Forum, someone will answer you.For the legal side of things I would suggest you ask Bulent,( by either e-mail or private mail through the Forum), the owner of Kocegiz Real Estate who will point you in the right direction.
