As from yesterday, 7th October, reduced duty free allowances into Turkey came into force.
Upon entering the country, the number of cigarettes passengers can bring into the country has been reduced from three to two boxes, the limit for alcoholic goods has been reduced from five to three litres, the limit for cosmetic goods has been reduced by half and the limit for gifts has been increased from 300 euros to 430 euros.
I assume you can still buy in Dalaman Duty Free on arrival, as before yesterday, no one seemed bothered what you brought in.
