Lets look at the many benefits of having a Residence Visa ;D ;D ;D
1) Have the telephone/ ADSL in your name.
2) Don't have to stand in line at the Airport for a Visitors Visa.
3) Apply for Citizenship after 5 years.
4) Import your effects into Turkey.
5) 50% discount on treatment in State Hospitals
6) Buy a car/ scooter.
You now need a Nufus No., to get one you need a Res. Visa, however, take out a 1 month Visa (£40.00) to get your Nufus No.
and away you go.
All this for £8.00 a week, exellent value.
It appears to me that the Government wants you to buy a property, visit a couple of times a year, spend a load of hard earned money, charge £10.00 a visit, but don't want you to live here permanently.
