Yet again the British Embassy in Ankara has announced changes to the passport renewal process for UK residents of Turkey.
From 15th June 2010 there will be no passports issued in Turkey at all.
Instead passport renewal will be handled by a 'regional passport processing centre'. Rumour has it that will be in Germany and, therefore, cost of safely sending documentation to and fro will increase.
So if your passport is due to expire in the not too distant future, renew it via Istanbul before 15th June.
Well done, another piece of Legislation to help the UK citizens who live in Turkey.
