You also need to have a Residence Kimlik, 2 people were rejected for the course because they reside in Turkey using 90 day Visitors Visas, (doing the visa run every 89 days.) Quite rightly they were rejected, my opinion is that if you choose to live in Turkey permanently you should have a Residence Kimlik in spite of the fact they cost £400.00 a year each person. If you can't afford the cost then I believe you can't afford to live in Turkey.

The course has been cancelled. Don't know if it can be re-instated at a later time but being told there was a rule change 2 months ago and this course and certificate is no longer available.

The Turkish as a foreign language course is back on now at the Halk Egitim and will start 20th of next month after Seker Bayram.
The exam and certificate can not be given because the government have withdrawn it but 150hrs for 150 TL has got to be good value. ________________
