1 LESSON- DERS 1. TOPIC: Suffixes -LAR, -LER to form plural forms of the nouns.
If the last vowel of the word is either a,ý,o or u then you must add suffix -LAR. If last vowel is e,i,ö or ü then suffix -LER. Let's look at some examples:
Examples- örnekler
kitap-kitaplar (book-books) ev- evler (house-houses) kapı- kapılar (door-doors) göz -gözler (eye-eyes) gül- güller (rose-roses) sayfa -sayfalar (page-pages) masa- masalar (table-tables) dağ- dağlar (mountain-mountains) defter- defterler (notebook-notebooks) armut -armutlar (pear-pears)
