The owner of a bakery became angry after the mayor of Esenler, a district of Istanbul, raided his shop to investigate the hygiene conditions. When they raided a bakers shop, they found out that the place had poor hygiene conditions as flour storage was dirty, there were insects around and equipment which was used in the baking process had become rusty The unnamed owner allegedly defended himself, saying the reason for the problem was because the mayor had not informed him about the raid beforehand. “If you had informed us about the visit we could have cleaned the place,” said the owner.
