Sitting in a lakeside bar yesterday, the "Mussel Man" was serving someone, along came a Turkish man, waited by the cart, and when he came to be served he didn't wait for a plate of mussels, he proceeded to eat them one at a time.
He was eating them quicker than the "Mussel Man" could squeeze the lemon on.
We watched him eat 23 mussels in no more than 10 mins, paid for them and calmly walked away.
This must be a record amount eaten by one person in 10 mins. unless anyone knows different.
