Bought a new mattress in Ortaca July 6th this year with a 1 year warranty, a sooper-dooper orthopaedic, ergonomic one. Delivered next day, on time. Went back to Ortaca 25th October 4 mths later, there were an unknown number of broken interior springs. Nooooo! Geronimo out of the question, we haven't got a wardrobe that side of the bed No problem said the shop ,we will replace it tomorrow under warranty, that was easy I thought as I drove home, a warranty that means something. Next day a telephone call from the shop, someone has got to inspect the mattress to see if its a shop or manufacturers problem. It will be 21 days. I said I don't care whose fault it is, replace the bloody mattress. Went back to the shop 1st Nov. ready to do battle, had a cay, he rang the maufacturer in Izmir and told me they would be down 5/6th Nov. ;D ;D ;D Shop rang Monday 8th and told us the manufacturer will replace the mattress without an inspection. Hooray . Wait for it, the earliest will be 26th November due to Kurban Byram, what a load of garbage. The proverbial will hit the fan on the 27th if not replaced, and if you hear a raised voice coming from the direction of Ortaca, its me discussing the delivery. The manufacturer in Izmir is a well known brand and can anyone tell me why it will take 1 month to come from Izmir, I could walk from Izmir quicker.
