I recently changed my car and it had been converted to run on LPG and Petrol. I have never been a fan of LPG, always thought there was loss of power, didn't run properly etc., well, I am pleasantly surprised, starts first time, not noticed any loss of power and doesn't run any differently to petrol. ;D ;D ;D I have just done a cost comparison based on 2.35 Lira/Litre: 380 kms (238 miles) on 80 lira (34 Litres/7.6gallon) of LPG, works out at 31mpg, the equivalent cost of petrol for the same distance is approx. 160 Lira. This was done on short journeys around Koycegiz and 1 run to Marmaris. Well chuffed It costs around 500/600 Lira for a gas conversion in Ortaca and I reckon you get your money back in less than 12 months depending on how many Kms/Miles you drive. The only downside is that you lose some bootspace but this only affects those people who do the airport run.
