just for infomation if you buy a new or seconhand vehicle you can no longer register it in koycegiz for yabancies we have to go to mugla traffic office and comlete application there and then they issue the plates salhi the retired traffic polis will assist with this at a charge can be long day so get there early or you may have to go back next gay for no plates

You also have to hand over the old Plates, no old plates, no new ones. I don't know of anyone waiting more than 90 mins for new plates, I left Koycegiz at 8.00 am and was back in Koycegiz at 11.15 am.  I would suggest going to Mugla with a Turkish friend as their English is minimal and you will struggle. You can give someone Power of Attoney ( at a cost of around 100 lira) to go on your behalf.  Don't go on a Thursday, it's Market Day, and every man and his dogs in there. |
