Went to change Sigorta and pay my Kasko Insurance yesterday and was told that my original Sigorta had not informed the Insurance Company when I changed my car in Feb. that my car had an LPG conversion, although all the info was in the Document Wallet which he had for 2 days.
The outcome was that if I had a fire in my car I wasn't Insured, even if the fire had nothing to do with LPG.
Other points/info also came to light, any accessories fitted after a new car leaves the showroom, ie roof-rack, side bars, bull bars, tow bars, side skirts and spoilers, in fact anything that makes the vehicle non-factory standard has to be notified to the Insurance Company and noted on the Policy.
In the event of an accident there will be problems with the Insurance paying out on accessories not noted on the Policy or even paying out for the accident damage.
