I've recently been told about a Turkish airline offering low cost flights to Dalaman. They're called Onur Air and do flights out of Gatwick and Manchester (probably others as well). Only problem is they don't have a web site. I got my tickets through a very helpful agent, Diamond Travel, on 01252 519669. I managed to get seats for Easter 2006 for £215, not cheap, but by far the cheapest I could find for that time of year.
Bargain of the year must surely be a return flight for £34 with XL Airways leaving Wednesday 21st September from Gatwick (if anyone is interested ;D).
If you have flown with Onur before please let us know how you got on.

I've found a site www.skybargains.co.uk who list all sorts of people doing flights in and out of Dalaman, including Onur Air & Turkish Airlines. Worth a visit.

Another good site to try (but you will have to be quick!) www.gbairways.com (a subsidiary of British Airways) is offering twice weekly flights into Dalaman from Gatwick, starting from 1st May 2006. Flights operate Monday & Friday and they have an introductory offer on flight between 1st May and 14th July from £99 return. The catch is you need to book by 13th Dec and of course school holiday periods are much more expensive. Good hunting ;D Bob

Has anybody tried doing the Easyjet Luton - Istanbul - Dalaman route yet ? I've heard that Istanbul has two airports and that Easyjet fly into Sabiha Gokcen Airport which is on the Asian side of the city. Do domestic flights to Dalaman leave from the same airport ? Can I book on-line with anyone ?
Thanks in advance, Bob
