Every Monday you will find Koycegiz market sprawling through the streets. The vegetable market acutally commences on a sunday evening, for those of you who want to beat the rush. You can buy anything and everything here all year round. The only difference during the winter months is there's less tourists to snap up all the bargins!

The market is still thriving on a Monday, as already stated the vegetable market starts setting up on a Sunday. The market is in 2 parts with one the vegetable market being on the righthand side of the main road and covers quite a large area selling farm produce if it grows it is sold here along with items you can buy for the garden and household items. Further down the main road on the lefthand side is the clothing market, where just about anything you can wear is sold. The Market is one of the things that attracted the wife and I to buy a property to settle in as the market is held on a Monday the whole year round. We do not live there full time yet so perhaps someone living there full time will add too this for your information. Eamonn.
