That's a little unfair,do you know of any ex-pats who have been fined on any of the above, , because I know of a few Turkish people that have been fined on some of the above, especially speeding and drink driving, and whoever it is, ex-pats or Turkish deserve to be done for drink driving. Go out of Koycegiz and no one escapes the Police if stopped.

Its not all one sided, I know of 1 ex-pat in Koycegiz who got a parking ticket outside Bim, he pulled up, the police politely told him to move on, he moved his car 3 metres, and went shopping, a ticket when he returned because he didn't understand Turkish after living here for 8yrs. How many parking tickets do you see issued in Koycegiz, not many because the police announce their presence over the loud speakers, just because the foreigners don't understand is no excuse. I know of ex-pats riding around on scooters with no helmets, no licences, therefore no insurance, elecric scooters not registered, therefore no number plates or insurance. I understand where you are coming from but it appears to be the same for everyone, ex-pats and Turkish, and luck seems to play a part. You must have broken a mirror the day you got stopped.
