What a pain in the butt, 2 yrs ago went to Seskin handed over Kimlik and 2 copies of Passports and 6 photographs, went to Tax Office to pay the fee, total time 1 hour.
Today, took the above to Seskin and no, the regulations have changed, he needed the following;
2 copies of each Passport.
2 copies of Turkish bank account.
2 copies of permission to live in Koycegiz from Nufus Office. The bottom portion must be given to your Muhtar
Kimliks
4 copies of Tapu
4 photographs each.
The living permission was a pain in the butt, we eventually had to contact Bulent to translate ( official) what they were telling us,and my wife speaks acceptable Turkish, 4 different offices and we finally got the document, back to Seskin. ;D ;D ;D
Come back at 2.00 pm he said, back at 2.00 pm to complete paperwork, gave us the paper to take to the Tax Office to pay the fee.
The paperwork said $320 each, well done Seskin, the exchange rate into lira was 100 lira each less than against a Sterling exchange rate.
Back to Tax Office, 4 different desks to get the cost in Lira, that was a pain.
Finally, back to Seskin, there are 40 steps to Seskins office and we climbed them 5 times today, we are knackered.
The total time we took running around was 5 hrs and without Bulent we would still be there, worth his weight in gold today.
The cost in Dollars is $80 per year, so it looks as if you get 5 yrs for the price of 4.
I read that somewhere, can't remember where, but it appears to be true.
