Its an attack on personal freedom and confidentiality on the Internet. GOOGLE it appears has removed this option from the "account settings", I picked this up from the comments. Google has removed the "Remove Web History" option from Account Settings. The only options remaining are to delete your entire account or follow Google's merrygoround that first explains how to remove your history and then links you to to a page that does not give you that option. Ve-ry clever.
