Hi, my name is Sean Reynolds, and my wife Olga and I are spending two weeks on holiday at the Hotel Alila from the 23rd June. This is our first holiday without kids for about 16 years, so we thought we would go off the beaten track this time. Neither of us has ever been to Turkey before, so any useful tips about dealing with locals would be much appreciated. Also, I am a keen sailor (yachts and dinghies) so if anybody needs a crew please do let me know.

Definitely a plug for the basin, the Alilla is a nice Hotel, very friendly Owner and Staff, food is Turkish and good but a bit restricted on choice. If you fancy a coffee one morning we are in the X-Foods in the Village Square most mornings 10.30 - 11.30, we are the only Brits in there (2 or 3 of us) you can't miss us, we are the ones that look happy.
Look forward to meeting you with a bit of luck Peter
