Middle Roman Imperial Period Glassware
Here are a few objects that have been found in Köyceğiz.
Unguentarium
Height: 11.5 cm, Length of Neck: 7.3 cm, Diameter of Belly: 3.6 cm.
Found in Köyceğiz.
Blue-green, transparent glass, made by free-blowing. Has a rim that is folded out and in and then flattened, a long, straight cylindrical neck with traces of tooling on the lower section, an oval, bell-shaped body and a concave bottom. There is weathering and chipped areas on the exterior surface.
Date: The Middle Roman Imperial Period, 2nd -3rd century AD.
Height: 11 cm, Diameter of Rim: 2.5 cm, Diameter of Belly: 4.5 cm, Height of Neck: 6.3 cm.
Found in Köyceğiz.
Blue transparent glass, made by free-blowing. Has a rim that has been folded out and in and then flattened, a straight thick neck with traces of tooling on the lower section, a bell-shaped body and a flat bottom. The bottle is made from heavy glass and has thick walls. There are many air bubbles in the glass. There is weathering on the exterior surface.

It has an S-curve profile and a concave bottom. There are some air bubbles in the glass. There is weathering on the exterior surface.
